The PKF Global Gathering is the flagship annual meeting of the international PKF network. This year it takes place in Budapest, from 3 to 6 November. The previous edition, held in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, brought together more than 300 participants from 68 countries and featured over 50 agenda sessions.

Why are we going?

We work within a network where many challenges are shared: changing regulations, technological development and growing client expectations. Meetings like this let us compare how member firms in other countries approach similar issues in finance and accounting outsourcing, and bring solutions back to Poland that our clients will benefit from. Just as important are the face-to-face relationships with colleagues from across the network, whom we mostly meet online day to day.

Karolina Koszyk also taking part in PKF Leadership Academy workshops

For Karolina, the trip to Budapest is part of a broader development programme. In April she was recognised in the PKF Leadership Academy Competition, organised by PKF Global, and joined the group of three winners from across the international PKF network, alongside Batya Kahn (PKF Octagon) and Emma Hansen (PKF Australia).

The prize is a fully funded place on one of the PKF Leadership Academy development programmes, including the Leadership Development programme in Budapest, which focuses on building the skills of future leaders in an international environment. The winning projects were recognised for creativity, real business impact and a strong reflection of PKF values: integrity, collaboration and passion.

Karolina's success is the result of many years of commitment and consistent growth, from specialist to Senior Manager of sales and service development projects.
